Music - My great passion
Author and singer of Neapolitan folk songs, pop songs, Brazilian music and later also Soundtracks. Music was always a big part of my life.
Music for me has always been a source of relaxation and inspiration. Music clears the mind and helps to find solutions to the tasks that life brings. Music is the only universal language that is able to overcome the barriers of cultures, nations and time.
Since my early travels to South America, brazilian music had always a big influence on me. Authors like Toquino, Vinicius de Moraes, Gal Costa and Jobim are great musicians but also fantastic poets. I think that there is a philosophical link between the Brazilian and Neapolitan way of dealing with problems, this is where the inspiration for “Futtetenne” comes from.
During my activity as an athlete, at university or later as source of inspiration, music has always accompanied me.
Later when I was given the opportunity to compose, sing and publish for soundtracks, it was like a fulfillment for me.
With “Futtetenne” and “Che ne parlamm´ a´ ‘ff´a” I was able to share own wisdom with the world and receive feedback from fans. This philosophical exchange is something that inspires me every day.
New | Futtetenne (2016)
Sung by Bud Spencer
Written and composed by Carlo Pedersoli and Nereo Foresti
10 songs created at various stages of my life composed and sung by myself. They were all influenced by experiences in my life and the conclusions I have drawn from them. Song 9 and 10 are from a time (1961), in which I would never have dreamed to become famous as Bud Spencer one day in the future. These two songs are dedicated to my great, wonderful wife and love of my life, Maria.
